As the title says is anyone else in the same situation as myself. Am of to London on Saturday with HID for the weekend so will miss out,the one consolation is i'll be glued to the telly from 7am on Friday.

I'll miss the morning action on Friday and Saturday as I'm golfing but not budging for the afternoon rounds or the singles. HID has been told that if she wants to watch anything else she'll need to use the TV in the bedroom!

I am working on Friday but the wife is away all day Saturday on an art course and I am playing early Sunday with ALL afternoon slumped in the armchair - bliss!!!

Chris

Lucky lads, the Sky+ will take a hammering at the weekend ,might try and sneak into a boozer for a watch while HID's shopping, fat chance.

I have a bit of a dilemna.

I have the chance of a round on Saturday morning, followed by the footie in the afternoon. (Season ticket holder so have to go)

The alternative is to sack the morning round, catch the Ryder Cup, then go to the footie.

What is one to do? :D

it depends on who the footie teams that you are planing to watch me personally i would watch the RC then play a round then debate about the football

i will be at work on the thursday saturday and sunday even if i got it off i would not be able to watch it unless i cud send the missus packin to her mum and dad`s for the weekend!

Evening all, this is my first post as this thread has touched a nerve. I will be missing most of this years Cup as I crazily agreed to take my other half to London for the weekend and didnt realise the date, can you believe I did that. I should be back for Sunday though and will be glued to the sofa and sky sports to hopefully see Europe triumph.

Yep. I feel your pain. At work friday so will have to resort to the highlights show at night.

Will get to see some of saturday but in Weymouth Saturday Night/Sunday so will miss most of it. :(

You do realise that your now gonna get at least 3000 text messages telling you how good it is and what your missing!!!

:D :D :D ;)

"Jiminez has just knocked it to 3 feet at 11 Steve, Mickelson is in the bunker plugged!"

"Did you see that shot Steve? That was awesome!!"

"Cant believe your not watching this Stevieboy, this is nail biting stuff"

"[****], I'm onto my 14th beer, hows the tower of London?"

:D :D :D :D :D

I wonder if i can get Sky on my phone or the Pga Tour app might show some coverage, am not really bothered about an exhibition match anyway

Cheers Fabian looking forward to it ,going to see the King of Swing on sunday.

Hi All
also a newbie, so hello fellow addicts.
Use the Skyplayer application (free with your sky subscription) or use a buddies, and watch it on your mobile.
It wont work in Spain, but will work while HID is trying on all sorts of expensive dresses etc.
Cant wait, I sincerely hope we give them a kicking.

I was going to be missing it, as Mrs Mog was due to be running the Lochness marathon. Sadly, she has injured her foot, and has had to cancel. You wouldn't believe how much sympathy she is getting.

Double wammy, she has now decided to go visit her parents next weekend, leaving me to look after the cat.

Me, beer, golf on telly. What a threesome.

Playing all day on Friday so will miss it.
Working all day Saturday so will miss it.
Playing Sunday morning but tee time ensures that we should see the bulk of the singles in the afternoon.
I don't have Sky anyway so would have been fecked on Fri/Sat whatever
;)

Gonna book a friendly game in on Friday morning , then a medal mid morning Saturday which should leave a nice full day of watching the singles on Sunday

I wonder if i can get Sky on my phone

It works a treat for me steve the sky mobile app is free till dec 31st too

Plus the double bonus can watch Ryder cup finish on tv while watching THE ARSENAL @ the chavs on phone so not gonna miss a thing ... Just have to stage manage an argument so HID storms off to visit someone taking wee rug rat with her :o

I'm not budging off the sofa from 7am Friday till Saturday night. Then I'm fortunate enough to be at Celtic manor for the Sunday. Happy days!! :)
