Been out now due to the eye injury for 3 weeks - I am really missing it. Seeing the consultant in a week for an update but suspect I may miss the season

We had the Parkstone match on Friday and having not played it for 5 years was looking forward to it this year - always a great crack, good drink, nice people and one of my favourite courses (we have a home and away leg).

Friday was gorgeous weather and the greens were cut and ironed and apparently stimping between 13.5 and 14 (I love quick greens) - just about the quickest ever. Congrats to their pro Martyn Thompson who shot 8 under off the whites including driving 13 and 17!!!!

Not golfing sucks!:confused::mad::mad:

I can curry with one eye - I suspect the Scousers want revenge after I won the drinking competition - I was pissed and dribbling way before any of them last year!!:D

You did amaze them with your ability to recover enough to get a kebab :D

Will be good to see you at the night out mate :thup:

Paul, I can talk you through my four rounds in Ireland if it will make you feel better.:thup::D

Royal County Down is the best course I have ever played by a mile. Portrush was good, but has a weak start and finish. I think for the Open they will be using some of the holes on the second course.

Hey mate chin up buddy.
Hope you don't miss the season mate looking forward to our game in October.
Keep us all updated on your progress.
Gutted for you mate.

Does it go blob,blob,blob,double,blob???

:whistle:

Paul, hopefully the news is good from the consultant mate.

If you miss the season look on the bright side, your handicap won't go up :rofl:

See you at West Hill

Hey up lad, great to hear you're up and about. Be patient with the recovery, and look at the positives with the golf - you won't lose any balls for a while. Best, best, best wishes, Bri
