Missing ebay item

Won an auction before xmas and item still hasn't arrived.

Seller said would be delivered by Thurs (tracked by royal mail) but still appreciate xmas delays.

I'll give it til tomorrow but if still not here what are my options.

Assume can get full refund but how does the process work ?

I think you have to allow 28 days for delivery with RM. First thing to do is raise a dispute with eBay. All the info you need is provided when you raise the dispute.

Have you contacted the seller to ask about it? If I buy something off ebay and it is slow arriving I try contacting them first.
If he said it was being tracked, ask for the tracking number.

I had a cracker a while back......

I sent a Vokey wedge to London via My Hermes Siigned for. Guys neighbor signs for it , only to pass an empty (and destroyed and ripped) box to the buyer. He contacts me pretty hacked off.
I said I would contact Hermes, who were pretty good to be fair. I asked if his neighbour signed for an empty ripped box? Cue no reply for about 3/4 weeks. Eventually he contacted me asking if I had heard from Hermes, to which I asked the same question of his neighbour. He said he has not seen his neighbour for about a month. This goes on and on. Hermes paid out pretty quickly and to this day I still have had no reply. However I did get double the price for the Vokey !

He did email me a copy of the receipt but It was so poor you couldn't read the text and the tracking number was the wrong format for RM.

I'll contact him again tomorrow to ask for an update.

Ask him to type out the RM tracking number then you can track it yourself if number does fit ask the question then move to ebay dispute.
You will almost certainly get your money back I it doesn't turn up its just a hassle.

You open dispute saying not received they contact seller and ask his response without a proper tracking number you will get refund fairly quick once started the process is fairly straight forward but just takes time. Email back and forth and 7 days to reply each time.
