Myself and HimID were joined by NWJocko for a round of golf yesterday. Weather was great and had a really enjoyable afternoon:) Didn't embarrass myself too much either considering I'd had a major swing change in my lesson the hour before.

Yep, he burned the course up again:) We both play with some low handicappers but could of done with binoculars at times to see where some of Iain's drives finished! Was in awe of Iain's backswing. Didn't make us feel queasy lol

You were only queasy after a night on the ale Danny!

Thanks to chellie for hosting me yesterday, really enjoyed it and some good golf from all  I was my usual erratic self but some ok stuff in there

What's the obsession with my backswing!? :)

I'd have to do yoga for 20 years to make that backswing mate. It'd dislocate my shoulder!!!!

Honestly, from my side it feels dead stiff (oo-er)...

Elbow getting any better bud?

Fairhaven was in great nick yesterday, greens were far better than in the open a couple of weeks back. Even I managed to hole a few putts!!!

Wasn't keeping score LB so don't know, played 16 holes (2 shut for changes) but at a guess maybe +5/6 for those.....

I was buying the beers for the hosts, not because I lost just to help dispel the myth about Scotsmen :)

Good win for your iday, well played sir

Our turn for the beers next time Iain joins us:) Thanks for the comments on my golf. Can hardly walk today after my lesson and the 16 holes. Mind you pro did think I'd only manage 4 after the work he made me do in the lesson! Oh, and hubby was out in the comp today with someone playing off 1. I'd got one of the names wrong and we thought he was playing with 12 and 14 hcappers lols

I'll leave the car at home if you guys are buying then!!

You played some good stuff chellie, especially on the back of a lesson, keep up the good work

1 h'cap round there is a game of golf I'm not familiar with.....

Cheers squire. 5/6 over is a good knock around Fairhaven, even for 16 holes only.

I hoped you tried to spread the gospel, with regards to the flatcappers meets to Chellie and her hubby.

Not as bad as I thought it was going to be mate. Hit the range today for a quick basket with the boy. Feeling the after effects now, but its manageable if I don't play too often. Maybe twice a week at most till next year..

We're both off work this week so had the pleasure of Iain's company again this morning:) Perfect weather after the hard frosts and temp greens yesterday. Course was quiet and back nine was millionaire's golf for us. Finished off with a good lunch in the club house.

Cheers for hosting again Anne, was a great day to be out  still can't believe how good condition the course and e greens were in, a million miles from what I'm used to for winter golf!

Keep up the good work on your golf, big changes in a short space of time since we last played, hitting it well today.

Lunch was superb aswell, could get used to that lifestyle very easily....... :)

Enjoy the rest of your week off

Thanks Iain:) always good to hear nice things about my golf from a low h'capper. Hopefully you'll soon be a permanent fixture with us at the course.
