Hi all

After the disappointment of the foo fighters gig being cancelled at Wembley I've been lucky enough to get tickets for Milton Keynes bowl 😆😆😆

I last went there about 10 years ago for oasis and the car park was a total nightmare, got stuck for hours!

Any hints/tips on where to park? Will be making the journey up from Kent on September 5th.

Cheers

Adam

Definitely avoid the car park at the bowl and you'll find they will bollard all the surrounding streets and not allow any parking at all.

Optimally you'd park south east of the bowl down towards stadium mk and then its just straight up Watling St (V4) to the bowl. However, depending on what sort of time you'll be getting there parking can be limited (in availablity and how long you can park).

They often run park and rides for these sort of event, usually from the college which wouldnt be the worst option, would see if anything planned

Youre only other option would be to find the closest you can park on the near estates that havent been bollarded off but you'll still have a fair trek id expect

Last Foo Fighters gig there they had great camping at the lake with free busses to the bowl. Excellent value and well worth it. Forget a hotel if you are considering staying. Last time the Premier in wanted £350 for their last few rooms. Hoping to get tickets on friday

Went to a gig there around 7 years ago, we parked maybe 1/2 a mile away from the venue, it was a decent size car park with an Italian restaurant next it IIRC.
It must have been North East of the bowl as we came down the M1, traffic was a doddle and we missed most of the queues.
