"Milk the cow" drill

Came across this vod on the net. Amusing name, but might be something that can help improve ball striking and consistency.

What do you think Bob? I was after a drill to help maintain some lag in my downswing. This would appear to do it, but might end up swinging like Charles Barkley!

I must confess I have never heard of milking the cow until I saw the video.
Its very similar to pulling the toilet chain or the bell rope, just a different name.
A good drill is to address the ball, set the wrists and swing back until the left arm is horizontal and the shaft is pointing at the sky. Then rip it from there. Hth

So, address as normal. Pre-set the wrists, swing back to 9 o'clock (nice "L") and hit it....
