Afternoon all!

I'm sat at work, idly browsing golf gear I can't afford, when I stumble on a clear mistake on a reputable UK golfing website.

They've labelled the Titleist Lightweight Reverse Cart Bag (in black) as £9.99, instead of the actual price of £99.99!

So I instantly bought 3 of them, and with next day delivery cost me less than £35. I've got the email confirmation to show. Within 2 minutes they'd removed the black bag from sale, and the remaining bag (red, black and white) is the only one for sale at £99.99.

So, fingers crossed I don't get a phone call or e-mail telling me "sorry, we're out of stock" etc. If not, I'll have a new bag at 90% off, and a couple of other people will get half price bags on eBay!

I don't think there are many bookies who would take the bet that you'll recieve the bag for that price!

This happens a lot, and companies aren't obligated to sell it if it's a clear error. sorry!

Hey, I was in Sainsburys the other day and saw some deodorant reduced to £1.50 from £3. As I needed some I thought I'd get a couple, so I went to the self service till to pay (Unexpected item in bagging area, but it's a frikkin bag you stupid machine, the most expected thing you get in bagging areas, the clue's in the name), ran it through and it came up at 50p. So I ran the other one through and that also came up at 50p.

So I scurried back to the deodorant stand and got 10 more. So now I'll be the sweetest smelling guy in the whole of Nottingham for a few months, all for for just £6.:D

I suspect several members of The Righteous Brothers on here will condemn your behavior. I say if you are rumbled it's a fair cop, but it was worth a try;)

Don't get me wrong, I won't complain if they say no, but equally, I'm not above buying something at a snip, even if I think it's been mis-priced. If they tell me I can't have them, so be it.

I remember being in the BX in Incirlik ( Turkey ) and one of the guys decided to get some golf clubs - he picked up a set and also decided to buy a bag - so he shoved the clubs into the bag and went to the tills - the girl scanned the bag and that was it ?! Out the guy walked with a full set of clubs for the price of a golf bag !

I have no objection to you buying at a bargain price, I'm not sure I'd opt to personally profit from their error though - but good luck to you!

I certainly hope you receive one of the bags even if not all three.

Hmmm....Isn't that just stealing though?

Man united did the same sort of mistake this am with all their new footy strips 50% off! Nearly 4000 was sold worldwide but they are still going to honour the sales!

So far, I've not had any messages, so who knows? If they're coming, they'll be here by close of play tomorrow.
I will say it will be all down to the size of the company if you receive the items, big company might honour the deal and just accept a mistake and a small company might not be able to lose that so you may just get a refund and an e mail apologising for the mistake.
