Caught some LPGA on telly. I used to like Michelle Wei in her early days, but what is with her new putting style.

All I can say, is that it is one way to get around the belly putter ban...

Not actually 'new'!

Certainly on display at last Solheim cup - and even quite a while before that.

Mixed emotions about seeing it in action though!

Looks plain uncomfortable. And like above, it doesn't work for her. Is/was she the most overrated female golfer in a generation? Has she ever won anything of note?

who had a similar thing going in the US open a couple of years ago? Garrigus? Something like that anyway, tiny little putter and bent over double.

Best line was from Monty in commentary "and here is noddy putting for par"

Yes, Garrigus.

Also Johnny Miller and Jack Nicklaus had similar styles and they could play a bit.

I think too much is made of this, to be honest. Anything that gets the ball in the hole and whatever works for you is fine. I'm sure we've all experimented quite a lot with putting techniques, grips etc. Whatever works!

Garrigus had a really short putter, I think she has a normal putter with a weird stance.
