Seen a lot on the forum about Orlando and that part of Florida but has anybody got any recommendations
with regard to Miami and the keys. Is Doral worth a look or any hidden gems. Thanks in advance

Having been to Doral I'd say it's worth a visit. I was there with a member who recommended the White Course, designed by Greg Norman, over the Blue Monster. He said it only really had one good hole, the last! I was a little disappointed but trusted his judgement and went with it. I was not at all disappointed. The white course is superb, no rough just crushed shell like stuff and some pretty big trees. I'd highly recommend it.

Also if your in Orlando try Orange County National. It has two cracking courses used for PGA Q School and the best range I've ever been too.

I haven't played the White, but I have played the Blue Monster, and have also heard the same advice that the White is better. To be honest, it wouldn't be that hard. The Blue Monster reminds me of a US version of the Belfry - a lot of rather dull holes with a few memorable but not necessarily very good ones dotted in the bunch. It is also very expensive.

In Miami, one of the best value outings is Crandon Park, a municipal course on Key Biscayne that used to holist a Senior Tour event.
