Well I was outside last night for a few mins, looked up and what I saw looked like something out of a disaster or sci-fi movie..........
A large fireball streaking across the sky, different coloured flame and what looked like 2 streaks of flame coming out the back, first thought was a plane on fire but it maintained its height and took about 7-8 seconds to cross my vision unlike the quarter second a shooting star takes.

Very humbling and unforgettable. Royal observatory say its brightness was -9, only 1 in 12000 will be -8 so this was mega!

If I start building a mashed potato mountain get worried:rolleyes:

Yep seen it fly across the sky up here in Glasgow. Wife thought I was going mad! Didnt seem to be that high either but what a sight. Took about 5 seconds then it was gone.
