I really would have liked a new driver in my stocking. I know that instead, I am getting an umbrella holder - slight difference!

I'm getting 2 boxes of balls and a pair of winter gloves.
I know cos I had to buy them and give them to SWMBO to wrap and give back to me.

A new set of irons would have been good but I am getting a brolly holder for my trolley, a swing trainer (More for the kids to use than me but I'll still make good use of it), some gloves, balls, tees, ball markers and a new belt.

Carrier for my golf shoes and a new glove are for sure arriving with Santa as I chose them my very self. Likely some balls and the odd polo shirt - hopefully not too odd. One hopes novelty items (the unlosable ball, personalized tee holder etc etc ) will be absent this year but I doubt it. "Nod and smile while saying thank you..." They mean well.

I got a multipurpose golfers tool - knife, brush, pitchfork, stud remover and ball marker all wrapped up in a neat package to resemble a Swiss Army knife.
I have wanted one of these ever since I started playing in '93, its been on every xmas and birthday list since and nobodys ever bought me one. Its been heartbreaking. And finally, finally it happens. There it is in the bottom of my xmas stocking. The joy, the joy.

I'd rather have had a bar of choccie but beggars can't be choosers can they....
