Mere GC (Manchester) this Thursday (22nd Aug)

I've booked off this Thursday and Friday from work, so fancy a day out.

Mere have tee times for this Thursday morning 8.00-8.58 for £25.00, which I believe is a steal. I've never played it before, but have heard good things.

Anyone else game, or any other suggestions.

I may play Friday also, but depends on HID.

decent course fairly compact in places but was in good condition when i played it and it stood up to a monsoon fairly well.

Did have to hide my beat up escort in a corner of the car park though! :lol:

I'm looking for somewhere to play around Manchester this Thursday but I've got a dentist appointment at 9am so no chance of me getting to Mere anytime before 11. I'm tempted to play Heaton Park as it's £15, nice and casual and I find it a very interesting course. If you fancy a round around 11am onwards somewhere close to Manchester and preferably less than £20 a round, let me know.
