Meningitis

Was reading on the BBC website earlier today about a family who's two yr old daughter has passed away due to this terrible illness.
They have released a video and photos of there daughter to highlight meningitis. It is heartbreaking. Hope it produces the desired effect.
Hearts go out to them.

I've just seen it on the 6 o'clock news. It was heartbreaking. I had to turn it off when I saw the condition that poor girl was in. I have a 1 year old so it's hit home with me.

Absolutely devastating, something you wouldn't wish on anyone. It does however highlight the importance of knowing the signs of this horrible illness and spotting them in the early stages when treatment is more effective
