Well the match was an honourable draw.

I really enjoyed the challenge and was only a couple over handicap for the round. There was a competition for the best pairing of each gender (stableford better ball) and we won with an awesome 51 points :whoo: We won our match 5&3 and our opponents played great with 44 points.

Subtracting 1 point for each non-blob hole would bring it back to 'normal'. As that was a 'winning' score, it looks like about a dozen is the correct amount - maybe +6 for Ladies, -6 for Men. Would have made your match quite close too!

Next best ladies score was 44 points. 18 is too much for those who relatively hit it long but many of the women can't hit any green in reg from the whites. Perhaps some sort of ranking by handicap might work better...though complicate matters! We have a match later in the year when it's played off our own tees and regular handicaps so that will be interesting.
