Going very grey on top lately, though i like to think its very Stewart Granger, the current Mrs148 says its more Grandpa Munster.

Keeps pestering me to dye it, not a chance

would you?

should you?

Why would you?

I am slowly going grey with mousey hair, so not as noticeable as if I had brown or black hair.

To answer, No, no and couldn't be bothered to.

Would rather go grey, over time then dye it forever. Just couldn't be bother to dye it, I don't really look in a mirror at myself and therefore don't notice how old I am getting!.

No.

No - you are who you are: enjoy it.

Never looks natural so you'll just be a dork who dyes his hair.

Exactly this. Go gracefully and it looks fine. Dye your hair and look sad like Paul McCartney. Men who dye their hair reminds me of the quote about cosmetic surgery, for vanity purposes, "people who have cosmetic surgery don't look better, they just look like people who have had cosmetic surgery". The same goes for blokes who dye their hair.

dye your hair ,not a bloody chance,
that would be as bad as wearing a syrup
get over it you are going grey ,so what ,people do
so you are going bald ,so what ,people do .

not that i am going grey ,i already am ,and no i have a full head of hair so dont need a syrup.

A bloke at work did for a while , I guess he got the pee taken out of him so much that he stopped.

It's gone back to grey from being jet black.

Dying your hair? Really?

One of my staff did it about 8 years ago. He still gets ribbed for it.

No.

No

What you do is up to you. Live your life by your way.

Guy at our work did it years ago. He had a bit of a perm going on too. Not joking, it was jet black. One of the lads said he looked like a 1970's microphone.

Agree with everything said so far but do wonder which forumites are reading this thinking "......well I think it takes years off me"........dare you to own up!

I think you'd have to do it at the first sign of grey otherwise the sudden change would be odd and rightly deserving of what ever grief you get

Exactly!

A former colleague had been going a little grey at the temples for a little while. Nothing wrong with that, after all he had just turned 40.

But then one Monday morning he walked into the office with all his hair as black as a raven's feathers. Inevitable comments and leg-pulling elicited nothing other than a firm denial that he had resorted to "the bottle".

Yeah! Okay! Whatever!

Going gray but have had my head shaved for 20 years or so. Growing it a little longer now and its pretty bad and I hate it but could not dye it, it just seems a really false thing to do.

I got my first grey hairs aged 12 and was well on the way to the 50/50 salt n pepper look by the time I got married at 25, so it's never occurred to me to dye my hair.

Any time I see a man with cherry black hair I just laugh...
