Med cruises

Me and Mrs Hobbit have been kinda busy lately moving house and haven't booked a holiday yet. Normally we'd have booked up ages ago. Normally its alazy beach holiday around about now, followed by a european city break Spetember-ish.

Sooo, right out of left field we're thinking of a western med cruise. We get to see several cities and do abit of lazing too.

The question is has anyone got any experience of a cruise, especially in the Med?

My in-laws have really got into cruises the last few years. The one they seemed to enjoy the most started in Italy, called into Greece turkey and Jerusalem then visited other ports on the way back to Italy. FIL is a photographer so does a lot of research on where each cruise goes before committing.

In June they are cruising around Iceland, norway, Sweden and Denmark and I've never seen him look forward to a holiday as much as this one
