Just seen me new bessie mate at Gatwick airport and had a little natter with him.

Nigel Mansell. Owner of the worlds second most famous Tash. Him and his wife seemed really really nice. Asked him if he could get back into F1 and make it interesting. He said "wish i could".

Mrs's best mate and her hubby in their local pub last night - George Michael (Mrs's fave artist) sat at table close to them also scoffing. She was too polite to speak with him as ask for a photo with him for my Mrs. She should have asked - yes?

Didn't care too much for him whilst he was racing...

However, when playing at Woodbury [not long after he acquired it] he was on site and he couldn't have been more welcoming...

No. He was having private time so that should be respected.

While I agree, if you do get their attention you can kind of judge if they want to be left alone. I met Jamie Redknapp at disneyland and he was with his wife and kids. He was a legend when i was a lad, eyed him up, he smiled and i asked him for a pic. I did say, I understand you are with the family etc, would it be ok and he could not have been more friendly. Best bit, after my wife took the pic of me and JR, he offered my wife a pic with him, she said no, you're ok thanks!

Its about respect, if they were sat eating dinner, i would not have gone up to anyone mid mouthfull and asked for a selfie!!

Rooter - I agree. You need to gauge a situation. If Georgie boy had been out for a drink with a group of friends then he would probably be more open for a piccy. Having a meal is a more private affair so to me that would be out of bounds. Of course, we don't know his response so he may have said yes. Even celebs need their own private time, their families even more so.
