Nothing overly technical from me but....

I took receipt of this mid-week after reading many reviews and was looking forward to getting out on the range, then the course.

I ordered the regular flex shaft in chrome, standard bounce. Having never used a GW before I was looking forward to adding it to the bag and giving me that extra club approaching the greens.

Club felt nice immediately, well weighted and as you'd expect with a wedge, welcoming at address.

First ball I hit at the range and I knocked it 100yds exactly (perfect weather) but rather than be delighted I straight away questioned my PW distance as best I've hit that is about 110yds. Anyway, several balls later and I was massively confident with the club and extremely comfortable swinging and striking it.

Used it on the course today and despite the baking weather was delighted to see the ball take just one small bounce and stop a yard after. Whilst the greens where I played weren't cut ridiculously short, I'd have fully expected the ball to carry further. Hit a couple like this, full swings and half swings and each time the ball seemed to want to stop (z-star and then pro v). One pitch mark was quite apparent so can only assume that quite a lot of spin had been generated. It was good to know for the rest of the round that I could at least 'go at the pin' even with the greens baked.

Like I said, not rite technical but it seemed to suit straight away. For £35 inc delivery I'm more than happy and will now add an MD lob wedge to my secret 'to buy' list.
