MD Golf Seve Icon clubs

Hi all,
Just wondering has anyone either tested or bought any of the MD Golf Seve Ballesteros range.....My club Pro has become A main Agent here in Ireland for them and they've really caught my eye....

Hi,
Have the super strong wedges and love them after having a Vokey and Muzino wedges there is very little difference have seen he Seve range and they look even better and I will prob go for them when i change my current wedges.

Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't the Seve range pretty much the same price as Vokeys? At that price point, I can't look any further than Vokey SMs.

As an aside, they will all be changed in Jan, when the new groove regs come in, so maybe some bargains to be had in December?

I needed a new wedge recently as my old Vokey (bought 2nd hand) was a bit worn down. Eventually plumped for a Seve Grind from MD, I was more interested in the Continous Bounce being informed that it would get you out of any bunker, guaranteed (yep - I fell for the marketing ). Couldn't find a CB so went for the Grind, got it for £60 from my club pro. I like it very much, I do refrain from using it in shallow/ hard sand though as it tends to bounce of the harder surface and cut through the ball. We have a couple of bunkers that have a thin covering, so switch to my pitching wedge if I'm in there. Under normal circumstances, providing I play a full shot and don't bottle it, it plays very well.

Are we talking irons or wedges?

The irons look great and will no doubt be good value.

I'm considering a set of better irons in the spring. Trouble is, I'm still waiting to hear back from MD about my local stockists......hello MD?......the website ain't helping much either.....

Well Dave Im talking the lot to be honest i won 80 euros worth of vouchers last week im my club comp for our pro shop...He has the whole range Irons,Wedges,Woods Hybrids and Drivers..... Im gonna splash out on a Seve Icon hybrid as i dont have one yet as these i think are a steal at 70€ as if my memory serves right i saw these advertised in a recent issue of the magazine for 95 pounds sterling.
