Tooooo much spam in here as it is.

Mods are slacking in their housework.

Sorry, I wasn;t having a go at you and I apologise if it came across that way.

Look out for Brendy and PM him, I'm sure he has some in his armoury.

Just wasnt sure about the wedges (if Bob reads this ill probably buy 2 as the pw is 45 hope thats ok)

:D

i use a MD 58degree wedge and its great out of the bunkers and as a lob wedge.

thinking of changing my cleveland gap wedge to match to be honest.

as for the grip, ive a GP multicompound stuck on mine so cant comment on the stock grip.

All the MD wedges are good kit. Played with two Superstrong Players, gap and sand and a ND 60*.
The Norman Drew sat very well, is versatile and the low bounce is great off tight lies. They are all good for a bit of spin and control.
For the money they are a bargain. You can sometimes find deals for 2 that is the same price as one premium wedge.

I got the 60 recently to replace a very battered 60/09 Mizuno wedge. I really like it and I am getting it to stop much quicker on the greens. Needs a bit more practise out the sand though.

One thing, the low bounce version is still 10 so there are a lot of wedges out there with less bounce.

I think the standard bounce version is 14.

Just seem this, MD wedges spin like no other wedge I have used (ram, Cleveland, mizuno and Titleist)
If you look hard enough the MD wedges come in 4 different finishes, not just the Norman drew slightly goldy colour or the dull matt superstring players ones. There is oil can and black also which I have not seen first hand but look brilliant.
I currently use a 50 degree Norman drew low bounce and a 58 players wedge, the 50 degree was notably great at ballyliffin last week in that of a bare lie it shaved the surface and made the ball sit up and beg (and backup nicely) when it landed. The 58 also has the spin milled face but doesn't spin quite so much but stops on a button.
