I don't eat a lot of take-away food, but sometimes it's necessary due to work or travel.
I'm not a vegetarian, but beef doesn't agree with me.
Anyone tried the new McPlant? How was it?
As these meals are a rarity for me, I don't like to waste them and I need an alternative to Wasabi chicken curry.

I've moved across to a Mcchicken sandwich as beef also doesn't agree with me. Not as good as a KFC but definitely passable. Have you tried them?
I used to love KFC but didn't have it for years. Cajun spicing is up there with curry as my favourite.
I had KFC fillet burgers a couple of times last year and was really disappointed with how greasy and bland it was.

It's a while since I had a KFC as well, that's a shame. They used to be a step up.

We only have a McDonald's or similar on a journey, simple and fast, and it tends to be McDonald's as they have more drive thru's in the best locations. The Mcchicken sandwich doesn't sit on my stomach so that's become my go to.

Love Cajun anything. Favourite is dry spiced chicken griddled and sliced on to a fresh baguette with lettuce and mayo. Blinding ?

I’m quite happy to have a Sunday roast without the meat.

I often end up going to the Mrs .. well I think the meat wasn't the best bit of that.. seems strange but defo the rest adds more

If you fancy trying to make your own coating:

I used to make up my own dry spice mix then discovered the Bart's tins. I get through a tin each of their Cajun, Jerk and Harissa mixes about every 3 months. We love them.
A teaspoon each of Cajun, Jerk and smoked paprika on a roast chicken is soul food heaven.
Chicken gumbo - I could eat it 3 times a week.

Will you marry me??? ???

Had a Chicken Royale from Burger King recently and that has definitely gone downhill since the last time I had one. Greasy and nasty tasting coating. I was a big fan of fillet burgers at KFC but again the quality seems to have slipped. Don't know if its different coatings because of Covid shortages or change or recipe but neither hit the spot. Something about this sudden surge of Plant based food that puts me off trying it. Perhaps my inner caveman?
