I nominate birdieman for an MBE. The forum has picked up immeasurably since his "is this forum dead" post.

One can only hope that Her Majesty is listening and will make an appropriate announcement in the next few days.

Lavish praise indeed from such a fickle fearsome forum!
You will appreciate that my wittering on is partly because of my love/hate relationship with golf (I liken it to a drug addiction!) and the fact that I sit in front of a computer for far too long at work wishing I was on the course instead, or at least the range.
Maybe I should complain more often, of course it's much easier when youre anonymous!
