Maybe the snow was a good thing?

Played today after an enforced 3 week lay off and finished with 39 points with a blob and 3 single pointers too. So should get down to my lowest handicap of the year

How did everyone else find it?

Not played yet, but went to the range for the first time in 3-4 months. I've not touched a golf club since the start of november. The first 20 balls where all shanked at 45 degrees right. Weird thing is I've never had the shanks, my bad shot is topping the ball. Settled down after that, long irons back to normal but still having issues with the little sticks

Handicap adjustments at this time of year ???

No chance of that from late October - early April at my Club.

And judging by the amount of snow on the course still, no chance of playing anyway

Good shooting Chris,the snow was good for the greens they seem to have benefited from a break.

I dont think I scored like you but I sure did hit the ball well, so ye, the snow break was good for me!!

Played today. Course was fully open and drying out a treat. Sadly the last game of 2010 was much like those that had gone before. Some good shots, a few real horrors and a short game that will booby-trap any hope of recovering. 28 points and a lost ball. Still the company was good and good to get out and playing.

Sounds like most of my normal roll-up are hedging their bets on the severity of their hangover so no golf tomorrow. At least I can hit the range and try and get rid of the last bits of rust from the enforced lay-off before our new year comp on Sunday

We basically have a handicap adjustments as long as the comp is counting so pretty much every time!

No snow what so ever and no temp greens, the greens were fantastic for the time of year(any time really). Roll on next year !!!!!

Didnt score as well as you but that was down to putting and chipping woes. Come in with 1 blob and 32 points but mist of my bad points of my game seem to have gone thanks to novembers lessons
