Maybe been done before but whats the best course you have played??

Easy for me as I have not played that many courses:-
1. Carnoustie.
2. Lanark.
3. Letham Grange. (Only in the summer as it gets quite heavy in winter)

Looking forward to trying out more though ;)

North Berwick, Port Stewart (Strand Course), Ganton, Aphrodite Hill's in Cyprus.

Hoping to get a trip to Gleneagles and Turnberry this year and i'm sure they will be up there.

Have to agree there tpred I have played both those courses and they are great shame they dont still have the dunhill there. Royal Portrush is a fantastic course well worth the trip to play there.........

Old Course- Played it probably a doz times and never tire of the place, the nerves on the 1st tee still appear and there is no better feeling than coming down the 18th.

The front nine at RCD and back 9 at Carnoustie (am I allowed that?) :D

PGA Cataluyna.

My "Best Cousre" would be Carnoustie, closely followed by Rosemount (Blairgowrie) and Dunbar.

But, any course after a really good round, can become my favourite for a while.

Royal county Down Is by far the best looking course ive had the pleasure to walk on Scrabo or Ardglass would be the most difficulty.
Im still ashamed to say ive never taken my clubs with me when ive been across the water or on holiday.

Shame on you, Brendy. What were you thinking?

I've played many courses over your way and used to think they were far better than over here in JockLand, until I started playing some of the better ones here.

Have to say that RCD and some of the courses in Eire still figure very high up my top ten list, though, particularly Tralee and Ballybunion. Expensive now, though. Much more so than over here.

Get your bum over to donegal, rosapenna and a few others are exceptionally tough courses due to the wind etc that occurs 24/7 52 weeks a year. Ive only ever waked ound them following the inter club competitions etc.
The society I play with has a jolly in Rosapenna every year and hopfully I will get permission to go this year. 3 days of golf and 3 nights of alcohol mostly older fellas too so good for stories etc.

acp ru in my neck of the woods!
links- kingsbarns
inland- letham grange,(near arbroath)
and my local - the old course ,st.andrews

My family hail from the east coast (Dundee and around). I'm now in the Midlands (we moved down here more than 25 years ago) but still visit 4/5 times a year. I love playing most the courses in that part i.e. Panmure, Scotscraig, Monifieth etc
