Hi all,

I have a Mizuno bag with matching towel, headcovers, and umbrella, all blue and white, I also have Mizuno golf shoes although not blue and white.

My wife emailed me and asked me for ideas for my birthday and I asked her for a Mizuno cap or wooly hat. Later that evening she read the email back to me and then said "you want a blue and white hat to go with your blue and white"....and then listed the above with a big smile on her face. I said that I thought that's what I would like and she then mocked me with language that I cannot repeat here and told me I was going to look a right...........

I kinda get her point but blue is my favorite colour, its pretty much as base as that....

Thoughts please? Promise I wont get a white belt!

Alex it's all about matching and co-ordinating but not keeping everything the same i.e the colours can be picked up throughout your outfit.

I must admit anyone playing with me that had blue and white everything would just make me think of the phrase...........

.....no, not that phrase that rhymes with banker........the one about all the gear:whistle:

your bag, brolly, towel and shoes are all Mizuno so just have 1 item of actual clothing to enhance but not detract.....

p.s I'm typing this while wearing a Mizuno polo shirt and Mizuno sweater:o

At least the mizuno stuff looks good, I am just thanking whoever upstairs that you are not a Puma fanboy! you in a ricky fowler outfit i would not want to see!!

I am the same though alex, maybe not with the colours, but pretty much all my gear is TM or adidas!

I'm getting the image of where's Wolly in his away kit:rofl:

My sister (her and I have the same birthday) is watching this post as she seems to be buying me the cap thought this was hilarious..... I .... though so too..... :o

It is not my thing and perhaps I may have a small snigger, like the poor souls who cannot play football but insist on wearing their teams football kit :) ....
I like to wear stuff from the brands I am using but honestly if its good does the job and is hard wearing and easy to wash (yes you read that correctly ... I can operate a washing machine, but the sky box and magic eye stuff is just not my bag). I generally buy my stuff on a cheap deal, so I suppose I look a scruff ... But I am overweight

I tend to have matching bag, towel, headcovers etc to go with my Pings. Just the way I like it. HID did buy me a few Ping caps and a couple of shirts and I got some trousers at a cheap price but I have shed loads of adidas and FJ gear too so I prefer to just pick an outfit, usually to match the shoes of the day and ignore the maker. I really don't worry too much what others think of me when I rock up.

I too admit to manufacturer OCD. But not to apparel also, as IJP fortunately don't do clubs yet.

Delighted that there are some worse for it than i am.

All Im going to say Al is it is an improvement on the look captured on here previously when wearing sunglasses, and using a yellow ball with a pink tee ;)

I have no idea what you are taking about....

I am sure Rick will be along shortly, just after he has finished filming his 'Golf Makeover Series' for the Golf Channel, he is currently busy on 'How to get away with White Trousers'...anyway I digress.

Personally, I think there is nothing wrong with a certain amount of matching, whether its colour or brand, but to much just looks like you are trying a bit hard. Then again, its better than not trying and looking homeless. Just take your own style to the course, dont try and copy anyone and make sure you are comfortable with what you are wearing. If you are feeling self conscious or even asking the question, then its probably to much and you need to tone it down slightly.

I can see instead of the usual banter at the H4H day it will change to: 'LOVE the outfit, your sweater really brings out the colour of your grips'...haha

Your kidding, Rick has TM woods, Orka irons and Titleist wedges... I doubt he can sleep at night. I mean seriously, what bag do you use??

I think that the Mizuno stuff looks really good - they keep it simple and classy. We had Chris Wood's tour bag for an auction at our place the other week, but the bidding was out of my price range. :( Would have loved it to store my spare clubs in.
