Fair enough.

I've actually pimped out my excel scoretracker to show me percentage of GIR and FIR as well as ave. number of putts per hole...So I probably won't need it other than to see comp results and handicap movement anyway.

Our club uses it. It doesn't keep stats. Just records of competition results and everyone's handicap, results, and individual rounds.

For each competition you can see nett results, gross results and stats for each hole by the field as a whole.

You don't have to be registered on there to look at it. I've never registered and I can get into any of the clubs listed.

I stand corrected. I've just tried to look at Thornbury and been asked for a password.

If you search for Beedles Lake (where I play) you should be able to look around as much as you want to get a feel for what it shows.

Having said that, maybe the level of available info is determined by the club and there'll be more to yours? I'd be interested to know when you eventually get in.

I'll keep you posted. Will be Mid-April once I've finally managed to hand all 3 cards in, so I'll let you know then.

Our club use it and its great for results ect. it also keeps a record of your round hole by hole so u can look back over the year ans see which are your birdie holes and which are cousing you trouble there is nothing else stats wise.

We have just moved from Club Systems software (who operate howdidido) to HandicapMaster Software. The MasterScoreboard site is their baby.

Initial thoughts are that it's quite good, does what it says on the tin. None of the bells and whistles of howdidido but 99% of users just want to know how they did (!) and IMHO MasterScoreboard does the basic functionality better.

Ours isn't passworded. I don't see the point of keeping results secret..... unless perhaps you've been on the sick for years and don't want to advertise your recent run of good form :D :D Even so any individual can withold their name from the results published if they so wish.
