Marriott St Pierre

I enjoyed my 2 days there and played both courses, I'd play the championship course again but I wouldn't put myself overly out unless it was a very good deal.

You'll pass some very good courses on the way down to get there.

For groups and weekends away it's a good venue. The food and accommodation are excellent and the courses are well kept and quite challenging, however out of the weekends we had away last year, although we all said we'd go back, we'll be giving it a miss next year as there are other venues we want to play.

Thanks for the info guys, the drive down isn't the problem as i will be 2 hours or so from there with work anyway, the game at St Pierre is an event i play annually with work but it moves around the country so although im making the journey it costs me nothing more than my time.

You'd drive past the Belfry to play St Pierre?? Shame on you!!

It's ok but I'd go for rolls of Monmouth instead or the 2010 at Celtic Manor, good drainage. My missus works in Chepstow so practically drive past St Pierre if I'm dropping her off.

I've played the Belfry, Brabazon had some of the best greens ive ever putted on.

Why bother going any further then?!

Though the reciprocal at B&B would seem a good option too!

Im not playing it through choice, i either play St Pierre or don't go.
