Just started watching this guy on YouTube and wondering if he is actually Timmy Mallet reincarnated as a golf pro???

Re the quality of his vids, very watchable and he seems to have decent access at pro tournaments. Thought his recent vlog at the LET European Masters was insightful and worth a watch. Though like many others seem to, I find him quite irritating and can only take small doses at a time!

You'll find tonnes of references and threads about him on here, using the search function. I like his vids for entertainment value. Also, one of our forum members had a lesson with him (available on youtube to watch).

Another recommendation for Mark here! Seems a real top guy and has made his fame from YouTube alone. I agree with one of the posts above, his videos with Coach Lockey, and Buzza do provide some real entertainment value!

Only recently returned to Mr Crossfield due to the other guys getting quite annoying. The course vlogs used to be annoying, but now aren't as annoying as Shiels and Finch. I quite like Coach Lockey. He's quite funny and laid back. Every golfer should be like that lol

One of the very few guys who actually replies to folk on Twitter.

I quite like him as well. Only thing is that he reposts vines and videos on Twitter about a million times each, makes it hard to decipher what's actually new.

Like his club reviews as well, takes a good overall approach rather than focusing on stats too much.

The whole thin bullet thing was hilarious for a spell. I still laugh at it. I do think he's quite annoying on the course vlogs. It's like he doesn't get out much.

Open to what though??

I've had a lesson with Mark and he's a really nice guy. Had all the gear at his range and very knowledgable. I watch his vlogs etc but if they get annoying I just switch off. I do watch Rick shiels also and when I get fed up I turn off. But good on them both for both being a success. Highly recommend a lesson with Mark

Enjoy the vlogs even though the banter gets a bit samey. Thin bullet, lockey out, prawnies and parfield etc etc. I do think fair play to anyone that puts themselves out there like that and as a result becomes successful.

Although his videos are a bit low quality, I've found Matthew Connor (SnaitonGolf on Youtube) quite straight forward for reviews.

Still watch some of the vlogs but he does my head in on Facebook/Twitter.

Just constantly talks in riddles, "it's open, but open to what?"...I don't know you're the expert maybe you should tell us...

Whenever I need a review of a club I always look up Mark Crossfield. His reviews are excellent!

I agree with this. The constant club wiggling drags a little, either hit the ball or keep the club still, but how he reviews them is very good. I don't follow the lessons etc but my son has just started doing so and he is throwing tips at me all the time at the moment.

I think he does it to emphasize how much golf advice is dished out to people who don't fully understand it. It can sometimes come across as a bit 'my way or highway', but if I could have lessons with any of the YouTube pro's I think my order of preference would be Crossfield > Carter > Lockey

Think he is great, can understand how he gets on peoples nerves but each to their own.

As mentioned Coach Lockey is great just how everyone should be on the course so laied back and fun
