Have any of you chaps played at Manchester Golf Club (also known as Hopwood)

I am due to play in an open comp next month with some work freinds and would appreciate some info if possible.

A couple of the lads have played it before and say it is a beautiful, long, picturesque course.

I haven't played but a very good pal of mine (very decent golfer) used to be a member there and said it was the best course in the area.

Played with the steward last year when he came to our course. Supposed to be excellent with a great clubhouse and quite a few long holes
