I got home yesterday after a 3 day stay in hospital for a new hip
Cannot believe how differrent from my other one 14 years ago,techniques and anaesthetics have improved massively for the better.Much smaller entry point and instead of a massive padded dressing a 2" by 7"" plaster.
Pain relief to much more effective.
Sitting in the conservatory,door wide open with two sleeping greyhounds for company and not a thought about golf yet.!!
Hope all the other "men down"are making progress.
Just noticed ,I do not think any of our ladies went on the thread,tougher breed altogether obviously!

Nice to hear your home and everything went well. Here's hoping for a swift return to the links for you.

As for Hobbit's hump. Dressings are being changed every day and although its still oozing goo, it's reducing in size quite nicely. The 2000mg of penecillin a day also have the side benefit of erm... I'm regular...

Best wishes for a speedy return to full fitness. I am 3 years on since mine. 3 days after the op I was very uncomfortable and found it very painful to move around. Have you got your physio exercises to do?

Yes a full programe,not to arduous at this stage but will soon have to attend at the hospital soon and that will be a bit strenuous but I am determined to work, hard not ,least to give my return to golf the best chance.Dewsweeper
