Man down.....

Sorry to hear that Robin. Hopefully you will recover quicker than expected. I will try and not get cut until your fighting fit.

Bad news mate, hope it works out better than what you've been told so far.
Look on the brightside though, if the club agree to hold your membership you can use the money you save to buy a decent laptop that runs Game Golf!

Best make a full recovery Robin and not risk further complications by rushing it. I do wish you a speedy recovery though!

I am going in for a new hip on June 2nd and will be out for at least 2 months,so sympathise with you.

2 months!!

I played 9 holes after 3 weeks with my first hip but was 5 weeks with the left one as it's the one that the weight transfers onto through impact!!

Best wishes though!

Thanks for your best wishes.
I may well be a little older than you at 75!
I had my left one done, a Birmingham re surfacing,13years ago and got back playing 18holes in 6 weeks, younger and fitter then.I have a least lost 20 lbs to give myself the best possible chance.

Man up !

Gutted for you mate :( - hope it heals quickly and see you on the course soon

I snapped my finger three years ago and had to sit out an entire summers worth of golf. Hope you recover quickly and get back out there!

Thanks for your best wishes.

I had both resurfaced and both before 60. I really do hope it all goes well for you and you're back playing safe and sound

Sorry to hear that Robin, when I did my flexor tendon injury I missed June , July and August 2013 but came back stronger so light at end of the tunnel

Thanks,
I am sure it will.
That was very young for your ops,you must have played a hell of a lot golf!!!

I thought it was caused by carrying Smiffy round Blackmoor but that happened after the operations. No, it was just arthritis!

Forget everything else. Your target is Gainsborough in August. Just make sure that you're back up and running for then - you will not want to miss it.
