Magazine Auto-renew?

Has anyone else fallen foul of this before? I'm so angry, just had £45 taken for my golf world subscription and didn't even know it was on auto renew, phoned to cancel and they won't let me despite the money being taken 2 days ago.

Lots of things are auto renew now. Magazines, insurance. You have to be very careful.
