Not only has she flown a huge entourage to Malwai, she also paid for her gym equipment to be flown out after her.

How pathetic and how hypocritical, Im sure her 5* hotel has a gym.

Just relieved that her latest attempt at legalised child trafficking has failed.

If she really wants to help , why doesn't she spend a few of her billions on a decent orphanage and help out lots more of these underpriveliged children....She'll still get the publicity that she seems to crave and people may think better of her !!!

Maybe, if she paid to start an orphanage and school they'd have looked at her case more sympathetically....

I have mixed feelings. Part of me is pleased her fame and fortune has not swung the deal, part of me feels that adopting homeless children from around the world ought to be easier....

My gripe is that she adopts the child who then goes into full-time around the clock care from nannies etc. Then once in a while Madonna will show her face, parade the chavvie and all that and then bugger off on her jollies again whilst the sprog goes back to the nannies.

Also, the child is being well-cared for and is set to return to her extended family in the near(ish) future, family who dont want the child adopted.

Maybee I am just too cynical but I doubt Madonnas motives, look at her peoples comment of "no law in this land can stop this adoption now" comments, very tyrannical words almost.

I tend to agree a little with medwayjon, her life and in particular her relationships doesnt suggest consistancy in anything (imagine a single mum working 9 to 5 with her relationship record trying to adopt?????), she is still a carreer girl even though shes 50, should she give up performing she has enough business interests to keep her occupied and although her money will provide all the material needs for all her children (born, borrowed or stolen, children that is )this wont provide genuine loving parental ethos.

You always have to be aware when any media attention seeker becomes errrr, charitable, it may be from the heart but it may also be another vehicle for attention and we should not believe these people are incapable of such mercenary acts.
There is a lot more Madonna can do to help a lot of these children, not just one and she doesnt need to appear in the media to do it unless she seeks support donations, yet if you look at this case its all about Madonna dont you think?

I don’t see any real harm in this, there is much worse things in this world IMO. I also think you’ll find that she has been funding and helping with projects in Malawi.

As far as the nannie thing is concerned, there is a private school in Dunbar, near where I stay. This school is full of children who stay there even through the weekends. Near the golf course all the kids come traipsing out in school uniforms the same time every Sunday morning to go to church. Clearly their parents are wealthy and have better things to do than have their children over the weekend. This is on our own doorstep.

I am a big believer in family values hence my stance.

I have friends who are trying for a baby because "it is the thing to do" and for that reason only.
