According to news the shops are saying 3/4 of xmas eve shoppers are men calling it mad man rush.
Were you one of those guy's know i was.But it's tradition for me love xmas eve shopping carol singers brass bands etc makes it feel like xmas has started for me.

I saw a few desperately at the card section in Tesco with panic on their faces, I had to chuckle to myself.

Then on the way home my wee boy said "Daaad, we forgot a card for mummy"!

yes, that's right I had to go back to the same card section of Tesco's:o

I used to be a Xmas eve shopper and used to really enjoy it. Me and a couple of mates spent the whole day at it and had a few beers on the way round. It was great fun and really good way of getting into the Xmas spirit. Now I have changed to internet shopping, all done in an hour from the comfort of my sofa.

Tut tut, prior planning and preparation prevents pish poor performance - and enables me to chill watching Q's 99 Indie anthems with a cold one

I used to go to regent street with the mrs, on Christmas eve afternoon, and buy her a present. We would then go to the crusting pipe in covent garden for a glass of Rioja.

Then they started shutting regent street at lunch time, so we stopped going.

How times change. I drove past Westfield shopping centre in shepherds bush last night at 10.30pm, and cars were queueing to get in.
