Macwet gloves.

Got a pair of Srixon wet gloves the day before playing Cooden the pro told me " the wetter it gets the better they perform"

Yea will soon test that theory out thought I , very surprised they performed so well in the most rain I have ever played in.

I've got a pair and think they're great.

I use them but recently forgot them when i turned up for a comp. as it was heavy raining i baught me a set of nike rain gloves. I have to say the're better and half the price. I'd even go as far as saying they grip more in the wet than my fj's do in the dry

If you can try them on, do as they come up big. I measured my hands at 8.5cm, bought 8cm as wanted a tighter fit, and they are still a bit big. Would go at least 1cm smaller than your hand width measurement is (assuming that you are buying online)

I used Nicklaus Golden Bear rain grip gloves, £5 per pair, for years with no problems till the stitching gave way. You can also get Dunlop branded ones at £8 a pair from Sports Direct. I wouldn't be without them now in the rain.

Currently using FJ ones, will go back to MacWets but only as personal preference. The FJ ones have been very good!

Main difference was the durability and feel of MacWets rather than performance, which has been great in both.

There's more of the left hand on the club than the right unless you use a baseball grip. I never used to wear a glove and would get the odd blister on my left hand, not because I was gripping too tightly but because my grips were too small for my hand size and it was moving slightly during the swing. Now that I've gone to midsize I could probably get away without one but I'm that used to wearing one that it would feel odd.

So I presume you use two gloves when it is not raining for the same reason you wear two for when it is wet.
Unless you have a good reason for only wearing one... eg you only sweat on one hand.

The wet gloves are worn when it's raining heavily and both hands gets very wet as do the grips on the clubs

Obviously when it's not raining your hands aren't getting soaked nor are the grips so people don't feel the need to wear a second glove on the lower hand.

Presume what you like, I've worn 2 gloves in the dry and felt perfectly OK with it.
