I'm doing it for the first time this year, looking forward to it! I just hope we'll get enough daylight hours to get the 4 rounds completed.

We have opted to do it in May rather than June, due to the weather!

Anybody else doing it this year, or who has done it before, that can share any advice or tips for the whole thing?

I tried to arrange if for last year, but all 7 of my local courses ignored all contact from me. Now I'm a member I'm hoping for more cooperation.

Done it a number of times. We usually tee off at 4.30 (on or around the longest day) and we've the help of the club and the members letting us through, and including breaks for lunch etc we are normally done by 8.30-9.00

Our old pro did 8 rounds in a day, he started at just before first light and staggered in at late twilight having played 36 holes on 4 different courses, he had a caddy + ball spotters to help & various supporters to keep him going, I have seen posts on here from the scots mainly where they have played even more but they do get more daylight in the summer.

Good luck with it, a very worthwhile cause.
