Hi all, I've been offered a nearly new mack daddy 58° for £50. My wedges are 44, 49 +54 so I have a space. The 44 goes approx 105, the 49-90 and the 54-70. So to the question, a, is it worth the money? And b, based on yardages given, what can I expect from a full swing? Cheers dave

If they were my yardages I wouldn't bother getting another wedge as you have the yardages covered but saying that you haven't actually got a sand wedge which is around 56°-58°. I would suppose you would get around 50-55 yards with a 58. My wedge set up is 52°= 100, 56°=80 and 60°=60 yards so you can see the difference in degrees to distance

I tend to get 55-60 out of my 58 degree Ping Tour but I would suggest trying one if possible and doing your own checks. Think 54 is a little low for a SW in my own, humble opinion and so a 58 would give much more loft and different options

I have the 52 and 60 Mack daddy wedges and they are fantastic, if you feel you could use it def get it in the bag
