Machrie are having their Spring Challenge again in March, date is Saturday 29th. Special hotel rates of £45 per person per night dinner bed+breakfast, great course and a wonderful hotel.Dont take this as an advertisment its a wee bit of information that deserves to be shared with the wonderful forum users.

I am booked up with 3 mates, for the Friday and Saturday night, free use of the course on the Friday with the competion run in stableford format on the Saturday.

Food is excellent and wonderful Hotel. Great place to meet many golfers and would be great if a few other forum users could make the journey.

a group of lads -we call ourselves `the misfits` r going over in early may but were staying in the chalets .this i`ll be my 1st visit over there ..let us know how u get on

You will really enjoy it mate, great course and the dunes you hit over are awesome, true natural links golf, wonderful setting and wonderful greens.

We are in the chalets as well. I stayed in them before, they were clean and comfortable but not great, could have done with modernisation. That was four years ago now so hopefully they have been done up. I will let you know after our stay in March.
