Hi all,
Anyone have any experiences or opinins good or bad about this club. i picked up one yesterday new still in the plastic for 80€ 10.5 deg Fujikura quadra flex stiff shaft iv been reading reviews and most if not all are very positive...maybe its the answer to ridding me of the slice that haunts me from time to time....

Hmm...one of the best driver's I've ever tried. FULL STOP.
My pro had 2 (and kept one for himself) and wanted me to take the other.
Sadly, he and I didn't see eye to eye on the price, and it's still in the shop for £149 down from £199....madness.

Hey dave...
Hows the smooth going....ya what actually happened with me is the younger brother wanted to buy my G10 which iv been fighting with a bit recently...the club no not my bro :D
anyway i gave it too him for 100€ it owed me nothing i got the macgregor yesterday and am gonna play it for the first time tomorrow...it looks and feels nice i just hope it plays as good as it looks...im hoping it'll keep me a bit straighter as the only club im having trouble with is the driver...everything else is fine...cant hurt to try it anyway :D

wouldnt worry about other peoples experiences with it kid, you will get some for & some against, just get out & burst it down the middle!
good luck
well iv played my round of golf today with arguably the best underestimated driver i have ever hit and iv tried a lot..... The MacGregor MacTec NVG2 Draw......i didnt miss one fairway with it all day...anyone struggling with a slice a power fade or who is either a little wayward off the tee or short is mad not to try this.... my playing partners who are not short off the tee were astonished when i was out driving them and straight on average 40 to 50 yards longer...this is a peach of a club and ill never part with it .... it puts manners on my Ping G10... Brand snobs can keep their high end equipment iv got the bargain of the centuary.... :D

+1
Had mine for about 18 months now and love it. Don't get me wrong I can still slice the bejesus out of the ball every now and again, but the feel and look of this club is hard to beat.
I've tried a few of the more recent offerings from TM Cobra etc but nothing has made me feel that I'm missing out by having this club in the bag.

Edit to add,
I think a big part of what makes tis club so good is the Speeder shaft that it comes with. i'm not very technically minded re golf equipment but the feel from this shaft gives a lot of confidence.
