or shafts in general?

I am thinking of going for a fitting for a new shaft for my M2 but dunno how much I need to save up first..

the fitting is £50 but if I buy a shaft or whatever from him £50 is refunded

so how much is a shaft for a driver?

anything from £20 to £200 give or take, really depends on how exotic a shaft you want

why are you thinking of a fitting, whats wrong with it currently?

You can go a lot higher than that, the really exotic stuff can be in excess of £500! But you'll get a really good shaft for £100-150.

I have cut my shaft down and been getting good distance using my 12 degree m2 cranked down to 10 degree however I'm all over the place

Gonna have a lesson on driving but I am tempted whilst I have a bit of cash to invest in a proper shaft fitting as I got it off the shelf

Get the most expensive, everybody knows it will guarantee you another 1.3 yds and improve your dispersion by 7mm :D

PX Hzrdus are worth a try, i have a black shaft .

How much are these? I won't go souly on price but can almost rule the plus £150 shafts out straight away unless one at £200 is leagues ahead

Do you want a free shaft?!?!

it would depend on what works best.

My current shaft was £20 of a guy on here, a complete accident that it works outstandingly in the M2.

But, if id gone for a fitting and it would have cost my 10 times that i prob would have paid it TBH.

I'm in the same boat and considering going for a shaft fitting.

Having lessons on driving, and the pro reckons that i need a shaft with either a lower kick point or lower torque due to the way i load the shaft.

Got a 2017 with the stock Fuji XLR8 56 Regular shaft, but with my swing speed (92-94mph) i might struggle to go for a stiff shaft.

Only problem i have is golf principles and tour X are a fair distance away, without a car at the minute, so the cost is even higher with train fares before i've even got in the door!

Ive bite the bullet and I have emailed a fitter near me to book me in for a Driver shaft fit in the M2 , going to get him to check the Loft aswell see which one works best for me

Hope it goes well for you.

I've done exactly the same, got some work on in Essex, so got a company van for the week, and Golf Principles have a new place down there, so managed to get booked in for a couple of weeks time, to get fit for a shaft in the driver and hoping they can unglue the M2 5 wood as well and find a shaft for that if i need one.
