I currently have an r11 driver which I was custom fit for and hit reasonably accurately but not that far and am interested in upgrading to see if I can keep the accuracy but add 10-15 yards!

I have read good things about both the M1 and M2 drivers and would want to get a custom fitting! Do I need to do this before the new Taylor Made drivers are out as shops will ship out the m1/m2 ready for the the new Taylor made model?

for now, the M1 is down to £299 and the M2 is still £279

is that because the M2 is here to stay and the M1 is being sold off because of the new M1 460 coming out? £279 for an M2 and £299 for an M1 will increase the sales of an M1 because people will think wow I could get the M1 for a tiny bit more whats £20.

I don`t think we will see an new M2 untill later next year.

I have both and i prefer the M1, and at £299 its a no brainer.

Have to admit I may have been swayed by the price if I had waited this long.. however I went for the m2.. dont regret it because if I had the M1 I know id be mucking about with those weights lol least this stops me tampering!

If you want to tinker with your set up, then get the M1 after being fitted by a pro, if you don't like to tinker then go for the M2. Simples

If Pro Shops haven't got the stock anymore is it possible to still get fit by a Pro for an M1?

Can I purchase one in an online sale and then go to a Pro and ask him to fit it/tweak it? The majority of my clubs I get fit using trackman and find it helps me much more than buying a product off the shelf.

well it isn't. it launches higer, spins more and is more forgiving. i have sat in on at least 15 custom fits with the same conclusion

Interesting, Glad I made the choice I did then because more forgiving is what I want
