Lyle and Scott Waterproofs?

Seen a nice waterproof jacket that they have in the sale. Looking at their website there is no waterproof guarantee listed. I called them to ask and have been told that they don't give a specific guarantee, but it should last approx 10 washes..... This seems a strange line to me, from a company that normally makes decent quality clothing, and a product that they are pitching against Galvin Green pricewise....

Anyone tried L&S waterproofs, have any feedback on the quality/ waterproof effectiveness?

Cant beat GoreTex and its lifetime guarantee and if it was money, I would take that over "should last 10 washes".

Go for the GG or adidas GoreTex range 👌 (doesn't answer your question, sorry)

My thoughts too. Just curious really - seems a bit strange to pitch at that level without offering a solid guarantee similar to the competition.
