Lydia Ko wins Australian Women's Open

Already at her peak ?

So there is no chance of her just getting better then ?

Plenty more majors and weeks at number one - she can certainly improve

She's 17 and world number 1. She has already at her peak. It is unlikely she will still be there at 30 and almost impossible that she will be there after 30

Not quite!

All that means is that she's World #1. She has already stated that she can get better, so obviously not at her peak!

Maybe, maybe not. She may never get better than she is now. That's not the point though. The point is that if in 13 years time she is still at the top of the game and has broken every record in women's golf, she wouldn't have wasted her talent.

No idea about wasting her talent but just thought the statement that she was already at her peak was a bit hard to justify

The assumption is that she is a talented player who has the world at her feet and is still learning and improving ( as she herself has said )

Unless you feel she won't better where is is right now

Winning more majors in the next couple of years will show exactly that she isn't at her peak right now - unless you think she won't achieve that ?

So is the asumption that she's not at her peak if you want to be picky about it

I would predict that she is not at her peak! But it can really only be determined once she has definitely passed it - if she ever does!

She hasn't won a Major yet, so that would be progress!

You don't seem to be grasping what I'm saying. If she has still has a boat load of talent when she retires, then she will be wasting her talent at that time. I didn't say she had wasted all her talent. It's pretty obvious she isn't wasting her talent at the minute.....due to the fact she's out there winning with her talented golf.....
