Lumine Golf And Beach Club, Tarragona. Spain

Virtually next door to Port Aventura theme park, was initially part of the theme park group now separate and run by Troon golf.
Greg Norman designed 18 and 9 courses.

Played it last month, the lakes course has pretty wide fairways and massive greens at your level most of the water should be wide enough not to trouble you, found the back nine a lot longrr and trickier . Ruins is a lot tighter and more strategic, didn, t use driver on most holes. We did play of the yellows though so might make a difference

Thanks, I am pretty sure it is the Lakes I will be playing. Do the greens have quite a lot of slopes on them?

havent played it so no help sorry- just wanted to ask what the comp is and wish you well Jason, lots of us take a good interest in your blossoming career:thup:

not too slopey and not really quick when we played, there were some tough pin positions the day we played after the club champs. Greens were very receptive and quite sandy just under the surface, you could fly it right at the pin without any worries of running on. Bunkers had good sand and were easy to get out of, wastleland areas were like concrete & plough field of mud on the right of hole 6 or 7 almost impossible to get out of. Quite windy when we there as well. Apart from a few holes on the back nine it seemed a fairly short resort type course, more pleasant than spectacular
