Agreed.

I just hope that this injury doesn't keep bearing its head at random times as it could be disastrous for Luke's career. He is such a likable golfer in both his attitude and the way he swings the club. So here's hoping to him only building on this minor setback and as you say putting in a good show in Augusta.

That's great news. I've thought that he should have been one of Englands great players. Really don't know if he'll ever get to being a serious contender now, what with the likes of Rory coming along. He's just a very 'neat' striker of the ball and he makes it look effortless, well the iron play anyway.

My favourite golfer, it's a shame to see him in such a sorry position. I think that from now on he'll be playing 2 or 3 tournaments and then taking the next 1 or 2 off to recover. A real shame. :(

He'll just have to hit it straight and avoid the rough.

Murph,

Apparently Jim Furyk had a very similar injury and he hasn't done too badly for himself. Okay, Lukes swing is not as gracefull as Furyks swing though is it ? ;)

Sometimes these things just take time to fully settle down and repair, as long as he's careful in the coming few months, I see no reason why he cant fulfil his potential again and continue to grace our screens.

Hope so anyway, seems a nice guy.

If the medical report is legit, and this isn't just sponsor talk, then Donald has nothing to worry about.

Scar tissue is a bugger and can do very odd things. He managed two rounds of matchplay before it flared up.

One of the great iron players (a la Langer) and hope he's back soon - and winning.

They will probably give it a bit of time to settle by itself, but if the problem continues he may have to go back under the knife just to clean up the scare tissue.

Same sort of thing happened to a mate I played football with.

He should be fine in long term, and really start to fufil some of his potential.

I cant see him being able to undertake extensive practice anymore as the injury he had is usually a lifetime thing and being on the range will only aggravate it even more.

TBH I think he is done for and sadly, will have to cherry pick events to ensure no further, more serious damage.

Its a real, real shame.
