Lucky Playing Companion

Not the luckiest golfer you play with but the golfer or companion who seems to bring the best out of you. I went out and had 10 holes with someone I hadn't played with before. In that ten holes I hit three 'best ever' tee shots and anotehr two 'best ever' irons. Should I try and play more often with this perspon? Not so sure - it was my missus - and she was just walking not playing. But do you have a lucky charm/omen - companion, partner, shoes, jersey, ball, time of day?

My mrs suggested that she comes out for a wee walk with me round the golf course more often

I know what you mean - played 18 holes yesterday morning in the swindle and returned 28 points - picked my good lady ip from work at 3pm Sun still out she says "Can we go to the golf course?" she doesn't play but likes the walk - 11 holes 23 points!

I did at one point ask her to bring my trolley over to the tee - to be met with 'I'm not your caddie'. In fact she wasn't really watching me play - just enjoying the walk. I did get a couple of 'is that good?' as the ball flew off the sweet spot 280yds straight down the middle - and a couple of 'that's pretty rubbish' when I didn't try too hard to hole putts and missed. She doesn't understand.
