how come i got a letter today saying the my subscription for another 12 months is £41 whereas its £27 on this site. Wheres the loyalty!

like everything else the 'introductory' price is there to get you inside the door. once in, well you no longer need to be enticed.

Utterly stupid logic, but they all do it and get away with it. It's based on customer laziness, they know most of us aren't going anywhere else.

whats the benefit of subscribing? its not any cheaper ( at least not in ireland)and the golf balls that come as part of the package wont last very long
I dunno, leave the three of them in the box and they last longer, not much roll on them and hard to get into the hole though.

Unfortunately the powers that be at Golf Monthly, like so many other companies, hook you in with a bargain deal and then hope you'll continue to pay full whack the next year. Just don't bother. Quit it for a month and then rejoin - if they query any of it, sign up in your brother / wife / mother's name or whatever.

I subscribe to Golf Monthly, Wanderlust and Lonely Planet - but I never pay full price - there's no point, I could just buy it in Tesco for that price.

Likewise with the AA - been with them 3 years, and their price just went up by £30 or something. I phoned to cancel, they then took £30 off it. I said you're too late, I'm off to RAC, so they offer you things like M&S vouchers as well. Just play them at their own game...

I decided not to subscribe to GM. I just go and buy at the shop. I agree the first year is worth it but after that it's not profitable.
Either way we buy the mag so the company still gets paid anyway.
