Im completely the opposite,at the moment im out there all the time trying new things.
For me this is the perfect time of the year, not many on the course so I can try most things.
The key for me is having a goal.
Why not enter a winter comp somewhere,or go on a forum meet, always have something to aim for,
or else you could lose your mojo.

its ALL about the weather:rolleyes:

You play comps in wind rain and cold because you have to..........the rest of the time I want to enjoy a game with a pleasant walk in warm sunshine, not trudge round a muddy field in gear not fit for doing so.

Well after posting this I decided sod it and went out on my own , was fantastic !!! Millionaires golf !! Shot 81 with three 7s

Absolutely loved it , the mojo is back !!! Woohoo :whoo:

There's no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes (copyright Billy Connolly).

a full 360* turnaround in approx 4 hrs....must be a record:rofl:

I like going out on my own but it has to be early coz from 9 onwards it's a knight mare trying to get through 3/4 balls. I live 30 mins from my club so it means getting up really early. Taunton and pickeridge is only 5 mins away but they don't allow non members before 10 which is a shame as would play that a little more often.

I hate playing golf by myself. Spent so many hours on the practice ground for 10yrs I felt like I'd been alone for long enough!!

Might occasionally go out with the intention of playing 9 holes alone if no-one's around.... made all the better if I then meet someone at the club looking for a game who wants to do 18.

Playing on your own or in a group or pair is what makes golf such a great game. I love playing on my own, I just get so involved all my worries are forgotten and I am thinking about what I am doing.
But I have lost my mojo regarding playing other tracks, I just won't because my game is so poor, why pay money and lose balls ? However I think my confidence is coming back, I am looking at other golf courses and thinking yup I'll play that.

it seems at my club you go out at about half 1/2 and its a clear run in the winter any crisp sunny days and i will be out there

mojo deffo refound :whoo:

At least you have the option to play on your own. At the moment, it's dark when I go to work and it's dark when I'm going home. The weekends are too busy for me to muck about on the course and me and the range aren't on particularly good terms after a dose of the unmentionables.

Well played though :)
