Not sure how many of you watched this 3 part programme on BBC last week ?

A BBC Wildlife Expedition explored Bhutan looking for Tigers, as this place remains one of the last 'unexplored places where they exist.
Was fantastic, and wonderfully uplifting, having found out that there are potentially large numbers of the worlds most iconic creature still living wild, and roaming free.
The Bhutan people and Government seemed fantasticallly receptive and willing to ensure that the Tigers are now protected, and helpful in trying to make a 'Himalayan Corridor' which will help to increase Tiger numbers, before the damned Chinese wipe these beautiful creatures from the face of our planet.

The passion shown by the guys leading the exploration was humbling to say the least, and I thank God there are people like that that do this work, - just wish I was one of them.

If you didnt see it, watch it now on BBC iPlayer. Wonderful.

You can not be serious!, I did waste an evening watching assorted dweebs talking about seeing Tigers and all we got in the end was a few clips on cctv.
David Attenborough could give them lessons.

Well I thought it was much more than just a wildlife film. Yes, "Attenborough style" it would be easy to go to where tigers are relatively easy to film and show lots of footage but I've a feeling that's been done before. This programme put across an interesting and important story. The fact that there was so little actual tiger footage shown maybe gets across just how rare these animals are getting and how important the work in Bhutan actually is. Well done BBC.

And there was me tuning in thinking it was a golf documentary about the time Tiger Woods was in rehab for sex addiction and no one could find out where he was - and all I got was a couple of mangy cats!!
