Lorry driver pulls policeman for speeding & using his phone.

Honestly, the Police drivers around here are shocking.
I'm sure they're very good at high speed chases but general bumbling around the area - well, I often tell the kids to watch the Police as they'll find out how not to do it! They're just as bad as Joe Public....

I agree Ian. Also seen police drivers on mobiles (definitely not radios) and they seem so aloof to their responsibilities and their own requirements to abide the laws. Thames Valley Police seem to have an air of untouchability throughout though not just in traffic

Speed camera van was parked right next to the concealed entrance to our golf club last Saturday (club was obviously busy) completely blocking the view one way when emerging on to the main road and causing all sorts of chaos with traffic turning in/getting out. He must have been no more than 5 yards from the junction in a vehicle the size of a transit van. He was sat there looking through his little viewfinder completely oblivious to the danger he was posing.

If its not a mobile phone its a sausage roll from Greggs in their hand, their not above the law and need to be as accountable as any other road user, especially when speeding for no good reason ;)

Plenty of amusing videos like that on youtube. Strange how they don't like being filmed and make up their own laws as they go along.

There's good and bad in all professions. It would be unfair to tar every member of the police with the same brush. However this video is gold! I'm sure it made its way to every police person as some time or other and I bet its made the policeman in the video a better man for it. I've been into cars all my life and have had a few encounters for various reasons. I've found that being honest and polite (basically as you would be to anyone else regardless of position of power as it were) has always served me well. Its not a job I would like to do.I'm glad not everyone feels that way though.
